A Marathon man was arrested after pulling another man out of a car and attacking him, authorities said Monday.

Raul Pavon, 27, told deputies he attacked the man because he was tired of seeing him speeding though the Sea Grape apartment complex, where his daughter usually walked around.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, Pavon suddenly approached the man’s car, violently opened the door and pulled him out Sunday evening.

Pavon began pushing the man and telling him that he was going to beat him, the sheriff’s office said.

Meanwhile, the man’s wife tried to intervene but she was also pushed. The woman’s mother called for help, authorities said.

Pavon broke the man’s car door and he was charged with two counts of battery, burglary to a vehicle and criminal mischief. It wasn’t immediately known if he had an attorney.
