Have you seen a dummy? No, you can stop looking at the guy picking lint out of his belly button on your couch or your boss.

We're talking about a Pinocchio-like, wooden puppet, but missing the hand up its back that brings it to life.

The Naples Police are searching for Clarence the dummy, which went missing from the trunk of a popular ventriloquist act's car earlier this month, according to the Naples News.

The dummy hunt was on after Richard Parrott submitted a missing person's report for his wooden pal, Clarence. Creepy, right? It gets sillier.

The Sheriff's deputy that took the reporter actually wrote it as if Clarence was a real human. Check the description.

"Clarence is approximately three feet tall and last seen wearing tiny blue jeans with a tiny blue T-shirt and black and white sneakers size small," according to the report.

Clarence is truly one of a kind, kind of like this story. He was hand carved 50 years ago and has been Parrott's right-hand man for 30 years. Parrot said he went to his trunk one day and found the case that contained his dummy was open and Clarence was missing.

Well, we at least know he didn't just get up and walk away.
