Someone took a lot of time and effort to affix Post-it notes to a car in a spin on the toilet paper prank in a Westchester neighborhood in a photo sent into NBC4 on Friday, Oct. 25, 2013.
Forget toilet paper. The latest spin on a time-honored school prank is decorating cars with pastel and neon Post-it notes.
The Post-it note prank has become a Web phenomenon, as photos spread online and across social media. Residents in one Southern California neighborhood recently were agog over this colorful car in front of a house.
“Everybody in the neighborhood came out,” said Westchester resident Craig Duncan. "It was a big hit on Facebook. Everybody’s loving it."
Duncan doesn’t know who did the work, but suspects it was his neighbor who is in college.
Brandon Cyprus said it was his roommate’s car and that he thinks high school girls who have a crush on his roommate are responsible.
The roommate didn’t return a call seeking comment.
