Resource Officer Helps Deliver Baby at Elementary School

    The baby was delivered on Thursday.

    A resource officer delivered a baby at a Miramar Elementary School after a woman who came to pick up her child from school when into labor.

    Miramar Police School Resource Officer Natasha Richardson delivered the baby girl on Thursday at Fairway Elementary.

    The mother and the newborn, Maybelle Colin Sainvilus, were taken to Memorial Regional Hospital and are doing well.
