Maria Elena Perez defended her involvement in the NCAA investigation of UM in an interview with NBC 6 Wednesday. Perez, who was paid by the NCAA to use her subpoena power to depose witnesses under the guise of a bankruptcy case, said she believes the NCAA's wrongful conduct was imputed to her. "I think I have more than enough information and evidence to show that I was led down the primrose path. No one ever told me, we've had a problem," she said.
