South Florida Today Drink Recipes


Skybar at Shore Club's All Natural Margarita
3/4 oz agave nectar
3/4 oz fresh squeezed lime juice
1/2 oz premium silver tequila

Place all ingredients in mixing glass and shake and strain over ice

Skybar Margarita
1/2 oz lime juice
1 oz grand marnier
1 1/2 oz of Don Julio Reposado
1 fresh strawberry

Place all ingredients in mixing glass and shake and strain over ice
 

Classic Caipirinha
1.5 oz Cachaca
1 whole lime
2 teaspoons Sugar
 
Method: Cut limes into 8 chunks, place lime in a rocks glass, add sugar and muddle, add cachaca and stir, add ice and shake.
Top with crushed ice and fresh lime wheel.
 
Strawberry Elderflower Caipirinha
1.5 oz Cachaca
1 oz St. Germain
2 juicy strawberries
half lime juiced.
 
Method: Muddle strawberries in a mixing glass, squeeze lime juice over muddled strawberries, add St. Germain and Cachaca, add ice and shake. Strain into tall glass over fresh ice, garnish with strawberry.

White Wine Sangria
2 cups New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc
3/4 cup vodka (Ciroc, Stolichnaya Ohranj, 42 Below Kiwi, Kettle One Citroen or Absolut Pears are recommended)
1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 cup apple or pineapple juice
Ice cubes
Assorted light colored fruits such as cantaloupe, pineapple, oranges, lemonws, tangerines, pears
 
DIRECTIONS
Combine wine, St. Germaine, vodka and juices in a large pitcher.  Add one cup of good quality ice and stir thoroughly.  Store in the refridgerator over night.  Serve the next day over fresh ice.  Yields a one gallon pitcher.

Red Wine Sangria

2 cups medium bodied California Cabernet Sauvignon
3/4 cup St. Germain Elderflower Liqeuer
1/2 cup Cognac
1 cup cranberry juice
1 cup apple juice
Ice cubes
Assorted dark colored fruits such as strawberries, blueberries, red grapes, plums, organes, pineapple
 
DIRECTIONS
Combine wine, St. Germaine, Cognac and juices in a large pitcher.  Add one cup of good quality ice and stir thoroughly.  Store in the refridgerator over night.  Serve the next day over fresh ice.  Yields a one gallon pitcher.
