Adam Kuperstein joined NBC 6 in July 2005. He is the weekend sports anchor and weekday sports reporter. Adam also co-hosts Sports Final with Joe Rose every Sunday night at 11:30 PM.

Before coming to WTVJ, Adam was the weekend sports anchor at Fox Toledo News, where he was part of the AP's Most Outstanding Sports Operation.

Prior to that, he was the weekend sports anchor for WHIZ-TV, the NBC affiliate in Zanesville, Ohio. But, Adam's first taste of South Florida really came as a small child, when his family would take yearly trips to visit his grandparents. He never imagined that one day they’d be able to watch him on TV and more importantly ... cook him lots of good food ... very often.

Adam is a graduate of Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. He has a dual degree in Broadcast Journalism and Finance and a minor in Economics.

While in college, he announced Syracuse Orangemen football, basketball and lacrosse games on the radio for WAER.

Adam dabbled in teaching while working in Toledo. Mr. Kuperstein taught a broadcasting class at St. John's Jesuit, where he got a chance to inspire youngsters and outline the basics of sports journalism.

When he's not out covering sports, you'll find Adam listening to music, playing basketball, attempting to play the guitar and eating. He takes food very seriously. In fact, his eating hero is Takero Kobayashi, who once ate 58 bratwursts in 10 minutes.

Adam is ecstatic to be living by the beach and still can't believe that it's never gonna get cold here.
