Sangria Recipes

Red Wine Sangria
INGREDIENTS
2 cups medium bodied California Cabernet Sauvignon
3/4 cup St. Germain Elderflower Liqeuer
1/2 cup Cognac
1 cup cranberry juice
1 cup apple juice
Ice cubes
Assorted dark colored fruits such as strawberries, blueberries, red grapes, plums, oranges, and pineapple
DIRECTIONS
Combine wine, St. Germaine, Cognac and juices in a large pitcher. Add one cup of good quality ice and stir thoroughly. Store in the refrigerator over night. Serve the next day over fresh ice. Yields a one gallon pitcher
White Wine Sangria
INGREDIENTS
2 cups New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc
3/4 cup St. Germain Elderflower Liqeuer
3/4 cup vodka (Ciroc, Stolichnaya Ohranj, 42 Below Kiwi, Kettle One Citroen or Absolut Pears are recommended)
1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 cup apple or pineapple juice
Ice cubes
Assorted light colored fruits such as cantaloupe, pineapple, oranges, lemons, tangerines, pears
DIRECTIONS
Combine wine, St. Germaine, vodka and juices in a large pitcher. Add one cup of good quality ice and stir thoroughly. Store in the refrigerator over night. Serve the next day over fresh ice. Yields a one gallon pitcher.
