Two of our favorite things. Together at last at Joey's.

PIE AND POURS: Enough with the elaborate, marathon six-course tastings that leave you in a food coma and your bank account in intensive care. Joey's in Wynwood just launched their pizza and wine pairing menu, which suggests the perfect glass to go with each of their 13 pies and foccacia.

PLAY TIME: We're not really sure what's in Shepard's Pie (meat of some sort, we think), but we do know we like free culture, and that's exactly what's offered tonight at the Light Box, where the Mad Cat Theater Company will do a reading of their upcoming play, Shepard's Pie. There will be Irish beer and delicacies (Lucky Charms?), and donations are very welcome. RSVP to Ann Scully, 305-799-2746 or ann@skymar.com. 7 P.M.

SWEET AND LOWDOWN: You thought your life was pretty sweet, until you saw "La Dolce Vita" and realized you don't live in Italy and drink prosecco all day with beautiful people with cool Italian clothes and scooters. Remind yourself about those plans to quit your job and move to Rome tonight at Cinema Paradiso, where they'll be screening the classic Fellini film followed by a discussion. 7 P.M.
