Hand over one of these at Transit Lounge and get a free Sam Adams beer. We'd say that's an even trade.

GIVE AND YOU SHALL RECEIVE: Show us your cans (literally) as you bring a can of food to donate to the NBC Miami Day of Giving Food Drive and receive your first Sam Adams beer FREE. It happens at Transit Lounge, winner of our Golden Local for Best Lounge. We've got lots to toast, so grab some Goya frijoles negros and head over. 8 P.M.

DEE-DEE-DEE: The guy behind the famous phrase (or impression, rather) is coming to Miami to either offend us, make us laugh, or maybe even both. It's all part of Carlos Mencia's "The Administration of Laughter" tour. Who knows, you might be one of those audience members the camera pans to as you're practically wetting yourself with laughter. Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, 7:30 P.M.

OH CHRISTMAS TREE: One surefire sign the holidays are in full swing is the annual Village of Merrick Park Tree Lighting Ceremony. Every kid-approved festivity is here: holiday greetings from Santa Claus, Rudolph and the Christmas gang of other characters; stilt walkers and jugglers; a sugar cookie decoration station, and other yummy treats by Whole Foods. And for the eco-friendly enthusiasts out there, the tree lights are LED light bulbs. Not even Ebenezer Scrooge can muck this up. Village of Merrick Park, 6:30 P.M.
