WYNWOOD IS SAVED!: If you live near or in the Wynwood Art District, you know that there aren't many places in the neighborhood to have a hard drink. Good news, your wait is over. Cafeina, a cool new restaurant and lounge, is having their grand opening and they are the first place on the block with a full liquor license. So not only can you throw one back, you can have a crab cake that Martha Stewart called, "The best she had ever had." Tonight's their "opening party," which means comp cocktails and bites from 8 P.M. 'til midnight if you RSVP to cafeina@taraink.com.
SHE'S SO PURDY: Any Miami Beach resident under 25 years of age (or at least 25 at heart) knows and loves Purdy Lounge. There's never any drama at the door and drinks are cheap. Well, for the ladies, Thursday nights just got a little bit better. There is nothing like gaggles of hispters and free drinks, right? This and every Thursday all ladies can drink all they would like from 10 P.M. to 1 A.M. Music provided by fellow lady friend, DJ Jessica Who.
HEY, MS. DJ: It's most definitely time Miami Beach tied down a DJ to do the ladies proud, and The Angler's Resort has got her. DJ Amália has played every Miami Beach hot spot we know and love. She not only plays the sickest beats in town, but she isn't too hard on the eyes, either. She will be spinning every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night as the new in-house DJ for the Angler's Boutique Resort. 8:30 P.M.
