THE THINKERS: Jersey Shore and aversion to pants aside, Miami isn't all stilettos no substance. Case and point is the Independent Thinkers art fair taking place in Wynwood this weekend. Some of the city's most talented artists, photogs, designers and musicians will be strutting their stuff, so put on some pants (it's supposed to be chilly, after all) and show your support. 4 P.M.-Midnight.
FOUNTAIN OF COOL: It's only fitting that a blog celebrating Miami's emerging, cutting-edge music scene will be at a fair celebrating emerging, cutting-edge art. Stop by Fountain Miami for performances by No Age, G. Love, Ninjasonik and Shepard Fairey. 7 P.M.-Midnight.
ALL THE WORLD'S A STAGE: Or at least the Design District. That's where new live music venue The Stage (107 NE 39th St) will present live performances by Joe Donato, Bachaco and Mayday. 7 P.M. til late.
