12/5: Think Inside the Box

Dancing on stage, at dinner and in the club. Oh, and some music, too

NICE BOX: You swear you were born in the wrong decade. The right one being the one that consisted of adults dressing to the nines and heading to a cabaret. Watching a parade of sultry performances while you dine on gourmet cuisine. Simply divine. Nikki Beach is re-creating that dinner and a show experience with The Box, a sexy, artsy performance that'll make you drop your salad fork -- in a good way. Through December 5. 8 P.M. & 11 P.M.

MAKING US BATTY: Highly anticipated Israeli ensemble Batsheva is coming to SoBe to put on their dancin' shoes and show us what they've got. They'll be performing "Deca Dance," a celebration of 10 years of Ohad Naharin's (the company's choreographer/ dancer) work. Whoa, that's like, a whole decade. Purchase your tickets quick, they won't be here as long as they've been around. Adrienne Arsht Center, 8 P.M.

SUCH A TEESE: Dita Von Teese is not exactly what we'd call a tease. Given that "burlesque dancer" is one of many titles on her resume, we don't think that could be possible. The model and actress will be stopping by Lincoln Road to John Hancock her trio of flip books, "Dita: Stripteese." She'll be dressing up in her favorite lingerie just for you, and if you're really nice (or naughty, rather), she'll give you an encore "stripteese" at LIV Nightclub later on tonight. Books & Books, 4 P.M., and LIV nightclub, 11 P.M.

WHITE HOT ART: Fountain Exhibit ups Miami's cool factor with the WhiteHot Magazine Launch/Filter Magazine Curated Music Program Reception. There'll be live performances by G.Love, Chairlift, and famed DJ David Katz to boot. It's gettin' hot in herre, but please, don't take off your clothes. Yet. Fountain Miami, 7 P.M.
