3/3: That's Wicked!

Watch out: the witches are in town

LET'S GET MUSICAL: Are you one of those people who looks at April on the calendar and thinks, "Yeah! GLEE is back on." Don't be ashamed, we're looking forward to it, too. Long before those kids were singing their little hearts out, their heroes were taking over Broadway. Based on the novel by Gregory Maguire, the Tony-Award winning musical Wicked is at the Adrienne Arsht Center tonight. The story is, of course, about the lives of the future Wicked Witch of the West, Elphaba, and everyone's favorite, Glinda. It is a story that is sure to warm your heart, and maybe put a dent in your bank account with ticket prices. But, can you really put a price on finding out the source of good and evil? 8 P.M.

COOL KID: Wednesdays have slowly but surely become the cool new night to go out. We suggest Mokai, one of South Beach's most celebrated hot spots, which reopens today. Once one of the hardest places to get into, the new Mokai celebrates the effortless chic that put this place on the map. Tonight's party, cleverly named The Pyramid Club, is for all those looking to fall into the Bermuda triangle of disco and never come back. With a new contemporary and refreshed design, this place is sure to keep the downtown darlings and black card holders coming back. 11 P.M.

OLE! In the mood for a little tequila to get your Wednesday night off to a great start? We found the perfect place to do it. El Scorpion Mexican Kitchen and Tequila Bar celebrates hump day with Mexicali Blues this and every Wednesday night. There will be tequila specials all night long and live music from Arboles Libres. We're not really sure who they are, but they sound like they'll go perfect with a shot or three. 8 P.M.
