4/16: Oot and Aboot

Throw your hands up for Canada, Sweden and good old South Beach

OH, CANADA: They love being nice, having health care and hockey. Canadians, we love 'em -- and, save Celine Dion, their music. So head to Cafeina tonight for the second installment of The Eh Team, which will feature musical tribute to artists including Broken Social Scene, Peaches and Feist. 9 P.M.-3 A.M.

TATTOO YOU: Unless you're a speed reader or have nothing to do all day but enjoy a good book, there's no way you'll be able to get through "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" before the movie version screens tonight and the rest of the weekend at the Tower Theater. But we suggest you see the Swedish blockbuster anyway because it's getting all kinds of mad good reviews. Intrigue, mystery, kinky sex -- what more could you want in a film? 8:40 P.M.

7TH HEAVEN: The Raleigh turns 70 this year (she doesn't look a day over 29), and the iconic hotel wants you to celebrate along with it with their Seven at the Raleigh special. That means $7 martinis, cocktails, small bites and valet parking. That last one, in case you don't frequent South Beach via car often, makes us giggle with glee. Okay, the martinis do, too, but that goes without saying. 4-8 P.M.
