4/9: Jazz It Up

.. and all that jazz

MUSIC TO YOUR EARS: After a long work week, the last thing you want to do is go out and spend your hard earned money. For all you music gurus, head out tonight to the Miami Tower Sky Lounge in downtown Miami. There, you can catch jazz guitarist Randall Dollahan, who will be playing with his trio all night long. The best part is that admission is free, and be sure to get there early for their amazing happy hour. 5 P.M. happy hour & 7 P.M. show.

SUNGLASSES AT NIGHT: No matter what your style, having a pair of sunglasses in South Florida is a must. Fashionistas can feast their eyes on the hottest new sunglasses on the season at Hollywood Eyes' exclusive trunk show introducing Barton Perreira, a celebrity favorite for bifocals. Along with the newest shades of the season, guests will enjoy delicious hors d'oeuvres, assorted cocktails and wine. 6:30 P.M.

PARTY TIME: They closed their doors a few months ago, but now Mokai is back and better than ever. The new hipster hot spot will be shutting it down with their Snapshot party this and every Friday night. For the soiree that they are describing as, "where memories are made but never forgotten," they will be starting late and ending early with local DJ Lou Flores. And, like any Miami club: get there early, look fierce and get ready for the velvet ropes. 11 P.M.
