5/4: How Do We Love Tuesday? Let Us Count the Ways

A romantic movie, a top chef and a ballgame beer (or three)

LOVE IS IN THE AIR: What's better than a romantic movie? A French romantic movie. That beret-wearing, baguette-wielding country just knows how to make us want to make out with someone, which is why we'll be taking in a screening of "Could This Be Love" tonight at the Tower Theater. 7 P.M.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT: He was the loveable, huggable teddy bear contestant on season six of "Top Chef," and now we just want to love and hug Ron Duprat even more because he'll be raising funds for Food for the Poor to help relief efforts in Haiti, which is where he's from. Duprat will be at Whole Foods in Coral Gables for the event, which will consist of a cooking demo and, of course, a tasting, complete with a vino pairing. Tickets are $25, and 100 percent will go to Food for the Poor. 6-8 P.M.

PLAY BALL: There's nothing like a warm pretzel and a cold beer to make us forget that it's only Tuesday. The Marlins take on the San Francisco Giants tonight, and we're happy to tell you that the Fish aren't half bad. Catch 'em before they start slumping (as if!), kinda like you'll be around 5:58 today. 7 P.M.
