6/13: All Brunches Aside

BBQ at Red, late night grub at Cafe Prima Pasta and music all night long at the Doubletree

BRUNCH OFF: A new Sunday feast is born. Meat lovers save your appetite, skip brunch this week and head to the roof for a Sunday barbeque. Red, the Steakhouse is opening its rooftop for a special summer-long Sunday evening get-together that comes complete with specialty cocktails, traditional side dishes, and spectacular views of Downtown, Miami Beach and the Atlantic. Time to put away the tongs and let a professional handle the BBQ. 7 P.M.

LATE NIGHT CRAVE: Instead of indulging in the “fourth meal,” skip the afterhours trip to the drive-thru and enjoy fine flavor for less, much less. No need to sacrifice quality for savings at Café Prima Pasta, now offering 50 percent off the entire menu. Yes, that includes food favorites and spiked sippers. Imagine a mouth full of filet mignon for less than seven dollars. 10–11 P.M.

WHAT IT MEANS TO ME: R-E-S-P-E-C-T is a different kind of party. Sundays at the Double Grand Water Club appreciates good music, and so do you. This all-outdoors venue on the bay selects artists whose songs narrate our lives, and devotes four hours to their music. Bob Marley, Johnny Cash, Prince and Stevie Wonder are among featured artists. The venue, located on the first floor of the Doubletree Hotel, carefully selects artists to showcase. So take a break from booty dropping and kick back for a night of respect. 4 P.M.- Midnight.
