    DINNER AND A MOVIE: With the opening of Coconut Grove’s Paragon Theaters, there’s no better way to start off the night than to spice it up at nearby Jaguar Ceviche Spoon Bar. Their delicious new “Movie Spice” menu will leave you pleasantly satisfied and the classy atmosphere will have you wanting more. What more can you ask for from dinner and a movie? 5 P.M.

    PRIX FIXE: Located in the heart of Miami’s Art District, Joey’s Italian Café is offering their Prix Fixe summer menu with a splash of color. Fine galleries, exquisite pieces, and talented artists is what Wynwood is all about, add phenomenal Italian Cuisine with artistic flavor and you’ve got it all. 6 P.M.

    IDOL ON: After Taylor Hicks but Before David Cook, there was Jordin Sparks, the season six winner of pop culture’s American Idol. Since winning the title at age 17, Sparks has released her second successful album “Battlefield” and she’s here in South Florida to perform. In the fourth stop of her “Battlefield” tour, Sparks is gracing the stage at Revolution Live in Fort Lauderdale. Show starts at 6 PM with tickets starting at $20.50. 
    SHACK UP: An NYC staple restaurant is making its out-of-state debut TODAY on the bustling, food friendly and dog loving Lincoln Road in South Beach. Shake Shack is open ‘till midnight tonight so head over for dinner, a beverage, and don’t forget to dessert. The menu includes all the classic burger and frozen custard favorites, doggy dessert, and South Beach inspired shakes. Eat indoors or out at this eco-friendly establishment atop handmade tables made of old bowling lanes. Shake Shack previewed its creations at the South Beach Wine and Food Festival in ’07 where it won “Best Burger” so you know you’re in good hands. Miami Beach residents get a free scoop of custard with a five-dollar purchase.
