8/21: Interpol Position

Interpol, Cypress Hill and sexy Elvis

STAGE ANTICS: They were supposed to be the band opening up for U2 in July at Sun Life Stadium. That show was postponed due to Bono's back injury, but that didn't keep Interpol away. They'll have a live performance tonight at The Fillmore Miami Beach. Tickets start at just $33. 8:30 P.M.

INSANE IN THE BRAIN: It's been six years, Cypress Hill, where have you been? There's new material from the old school group and they're performing with Slightly Stoopid tonight at the Sunset Cove Amphitheater. Guess who's on the new album? Miami's favorite "Cubanito," Pitbull, Linkin Park's Mike Shinoda and guitar great Tom Morello. 7 P.M.

BLUE SUADE STILETTOS: It's what you get when you combine Elvis' blue suede shoes and burlesque dancers, of course. Last week we told you about a more subdued tribute to the King of Rock and Roll, but this weekend, it's getting hot at The Vagabond. This tribute performance will feature The Shameless Burlesque Dancers... and they don't call them shameless for nothing! 10-11 P.M.
