9/12: Play it Again, Saturday

A heartbreaker, a NERD and a disco inferno

MOVIE ICONS: There's no better place to kick back, relax, and enjoy the show than The Spa at Icon Brickell. Every Saturday night, guests can curl up on the plush Philippe Starck-designed couches and enjoy a film from a specific genre, such as September's Classic Movies series. This week's classic movie showing is "Casablanca," and the popcorn and cupcakes are included in the $12 admission price. Not bad for a romantic date or night out with friends, huh? 7:30 P.M.

THE FUTURE'S PHARRELL: Ever want to go to a festival where everything's included? Then the Future Classic Festival is your ticket to a combination of music, art, dancing, actions sports, video gaming, and much more. The best part: N.E.R.D, Awesome New Republic, Suenalo, and so many more musicians, artists, and dancers will all be there. So put on your dancing shoes, your headphones, and get your video game skills in check. 4 P.M.-2 A.M.

DISCO INFERNO: Burn, baby, burn at Badrutt's Place tonight as DJ Mark Leventhal spins classic disco hits, so dust off those "bus stop" and "electric slide" skills, they come in handy 40 years later. Diners can boogie as the white boy plays that funky music, so be sure to make reservations for dinner at events@badruttsplace.net. That's one happenin' Saturday night fever, baby. 6 P.M.-MIDNIGHT.
