POP AT THE 50: For you stargazers and hip-shakers out there, The Postelles, a New York City-based quartet, will be playing on the rooftop at Club 50 at the Viceroy Hotel. Their sound of retro and modern alt-pop will resonate perfectly with an open bar hosted by Jose Cuervo Platino Tequila and drink specials throughout the night. RSVP at info@novelcomm.com. 8 P.M.

ARTSY FARTSY: Art lovers unite! At the Museum of Contemporary Art in North Miami for new acquisitions from Magdalena Abakanowicz, Rita Ackerman, Cory Arcangel, Roni Horn, Catherine Opie, Hank Willis Thomas and others. It is the third installment of MOCA's Pivot Points series, and will be on display until November 8. 7-9 P.M.

LATE NIGHT FUN: Not only do we get to see art, we get to celebrate it. The Museum of Art Fort Lauderdale is hosting a party at Club Gryphon in the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino to celebrate its critically acclaimed exhibition, "With you I want to Live." Enjoy free admission until midnight, as well as two complimentary drink tickets. Gryphon's costumed dancers will add fire to the nightclub's trademark deep house and techno vibe. Sounds like a party. 10 P.M.
