Chocoholics and fashionistas this Sunday should brace themselves and their tummies for Aventura Mall’s Chocolate Festival.

The event takes place from noon to 4 p.m. in the center court and will be a fabulous fusion of chocolate and fashion.

Hundreds of tantalizing treats will be on sale and several models will be strutting their stuff in none other than: designs made out of chocolate.

The creations on the catwalk consist of several funky frocks emblazoned with tiny chocolate treats and wrappers that could give the contestants in "Project Runway" a run for their money.

Students at Miami International University of Art & Design put together the innovative pieces.

On sale will be cakes, truffles, cookies, chocolate drinks and candy from restaurants and boutiques in the mall.

Some participants include Ocean Prime, Grand Lux Café, Starbucks and Godiva.

To participate, tickets for the event cost a $1, and proceeds benefit the Children’s Craniofacial Association.

We’re sure this shopping event will be better than something out of the pages of "Charlie and The Chocolate Factory," just don’t forget the Pepto-Bismal.
