6/26: Eclipse of the Vampire Heart

Twilight festivities, 80's grooves, and a jazzing tummy

TOTAL ECLIPSE: Could it be a coincidence that tonight there's a lunar eclipse... and the third Twilight movie, "Eclipse," is just days away from hitting the theaters? There is no such thing as a coincidence, so Twihards unite! Fanpires will pack the Gusman Center for the Performing Arts in Downtown Miami tonight for a "Lunar Eclipse" event. Hit the Twilight photo booths, get a henna tattoo of Edward or Jacob, and before the screening of the film "New Moon," you'll catch a glimpse of Michael Welch from the movie. Pick up a wrist band at the Gusman as early as 10 a.m. to get inside -- that's all you need because the event is free. The frenzy starts at 6 p.m.

THE 80S LIVE ON: You know the words, the beats and probably the music videos by heart: Exposé, Stevie B, George Lamond, Judy Torres and TKA take the stage with other 80s greats at the Freestyle Extraveganza at the American Airlines Arena. We recommend you stay away from the bright blue eye shadow and fluorescent hot shorts. Click here for tickets. Show starts at 8 p.m.

CAN I HAVE JAZZ WITH THAT? Joe's Stone Crab is known for, well, their stone crabs and yummy mustard of course, but Friday night, dinner gets jazzier. Alongside their delicious creamy spinach, diners will get a hefty helping of jazz, courtesy of Wendy Pederson, who will perform starting at 8 p.m.
