Delicious food, jamming music, and gorgeous fireworks: just three of the essential items needed to successfully celebrate the beginnings of a new nation. Independence Day is a time to commemorate the efforts of our founding fathers and spend some quality time with the family. So party it up at our top picks:

Bayfront Park

Bayfront Park hosts America’s Birthday Bash, one of the largest fireworks display in South Florida. Bring the kiddies along, because they'll have a free Kids’ Zone from 3 to 7 P.M. The park is expected to be open all day.

Miccosukee Resort & Gaming

Special guest appearances, live performances, and cash giveaways. The Miccosukee Resort celebrates their first annual “Light Up Your 4th of July” event all day long. The event is free, and they are offering special room rates for guests. The 15-minute fireworks display will start at 9 P.M. so don’t miss it!

Jungle Island

Have some tropical fun at Jungle Island for their Fourth of July Fireworks and BBQ Bash. Their BBQ buffet is all you can eat, and you can watch fireworks from their Treetop Ballroom. Reservations are required so buy your tickets now!

Key Biscayne

Key Biscayne’s big Fourth of July celebration has events for all ages. They kick off the party with a traditional parade and end the day with a fireworks display. The event is free and everyone is welcome. 11 A.M.

Mardi Gras Casino

Want to celebrate Independence Day all weekend long? Then Mardi Gras Casino is the spot for you. Starting July 1st, they will be having cash giveaways, parties, sporting events, and fireworks. The casino is offering promotions for guests that include food and drink specials. So take your chances and maybe you’ll win the jackpot.

Miami Beach

Stroll down the beach with some music and fun - Miami Beach hosts its annual American Celebration all day long. Coolers and bottles won’t be allowed on the beach, but we recommend you grab the swimming gear.
