Joe White was born in 1938. He says, "I've been painting all my life. I've never done anything else. Well, I worked as a fry cook for about 33 hours over 3 weeks in college. Then I retired."

Joe White painted his way through San Francisco in the 60's, NYC in the 70's, and D.C. in th 80's. Saturday, January 2nd, 2010, his first solo show in 2 years opens at Museo Vault in Wynwood.
