Night at the Museum

Shop the latest trends and get pampered for a good cause

Shopping the latest trends for a good cause, getting pampered while doing it and leaving with a goodie bag brimming with fashionable freebies worth over a $100?

This is one night at the museum where rounding up your friends for a field trip is going to be fun.

Beauty Chronicles, an online beauty and fashion website is hosting “Shop for the Cure,” an exclusive Girls Night Out event this Thursday at The Miami Children's Museum.

The event kicks off at 6:30 with an array of local and national designers selling everything from accessories and apparel to jewelry and skin care supplies.

Participants include local boutiques like Nic Del Mar, MM Couture and Habit, as well as designers like Nikki Poulos, Lorie Lester and Gold Saturn.

Guests in need of some TLC can bask in beauty treatments like mini-makeovers and massages or let loose by taking a yoga, salsa, or belly dance class.

“This is an exciting event that brings together a mix of eclectic designers and the most innovative beauty products on the market today, said Iris Gomez, President of Beauty Chronicles. "Not only is this the perfect mix of shopping, fashion and pampering, but, it’s also a night to come together for a good cause.”

General admission tickets are $5 in advance, $10 at the door. VIP goody bag admission tickets are $15 in advance, $25 at the door. Tickets are available for purchase in advance at www.beautychronicles.com.

100% of tickets sales benefit the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
