It’s almost here, the grande dame of our city’s events: Art Basel. So much art to see, so many parties to attend. Be your own piece of modern art by doing it up for the affair. Chanel’s holiday collection brings the color, while Blo frames your face with just the right ‘do and YogArt balances it all out.

BEAUTY: While we’re yet to move past Chanel’s fall line (we’re still wearing the sparkly shadows and parading around in the polish), we’re thrilled to see the latest collection, Holiday 2011 Collection Les Scintillances de Chanel, is out in time for Basel madness. Poised around a red and gold palette, slip on a little of the Rouge Allure in Famous Lip Colour ($32), highlight cheeks with Lumiere Sculptee de Chanel Powder ($72) and tip off nails with Le Vernis Black Satin ($25). You’ll look as classic as Monet and as fearless as Banksy. GET IT: Chanel, 9700 Collins Ave., Bal Harbour Shops; 305.868.0550.

SPA: Your Art Basel agenda doesn’t have to be a hairy situation. Especially, if you stop into Blo before your big event. The recently opened blow dry bar in Brickell offers $35 blow outs in just over a half an hour, leaving you plenty of time for your main event, not making a mane event out of your whole day. Blo Brickell doesn’t offer cuts or color. Its sole intention is giving your locks that just blown-dry look. There’s even a menu of seven styles to choose from. The sleek, modern space can take up to eight appointments at one time. But with Basel bringing a host of art-seers into town, the time to book your appointment is now. GET IT: 900 S. Miami Ave., Miami; 305.374.2565.

GYM: Even Art Basel is heavily into yoga this year. So, what’s your excuse? Make a party out of your practice with YogArt. The officially sponsored-by-Basel event brings five days of music, art and, of course, yoga to Miami Beach. With classes, by the likes of Dawn B, Paul Toliuszis and Kino Macgregor, and concerts, featuring Trevor Hall and The Mayapuris, the event is guaranteed to be an enlightening experience. Sign up now while tickets are still available. GET IT: Tickets range from $40 to $50. http://www.yogartevent.com/ .
