It's All Greek to Me

Eos brings a taste of Mediterranean goodness to Miami

For the Greeks, she’s the goddess of dawn. For Miamians, however, Eos is the long-awaited Viceroy eatery we’re been dying to sink our teeth into.

According to Miami mythology, rumors of Chef Michael Psilakis and restaurateur Donatella Arpaia opening up a chic Greek eatery were whispered amongst the Gods for what seemed like eternity.

Thank Poseidon, Dionysus or one of the Mount Olympus gang, because the Gods finally gave us what we desired, and Eos hosted a soft opening on the hotel’s 15th floor last month.

And it was worth the wait. Lobster risotto with sea urchin is just a start of what’s to come on the Mediterranean menu. Sheep’s milk gnudi with green peas and manouri cheese sets the tongue on a trip to Mykonos, while the pecorino fonduta with hazelnuts and thyme honey carries a taste that could awaken the previously mentioned Gods.

While the menu is set to change before Eos’ grand opening, we think the mythology its already created with its temporary offers is one to take to the mount.
