When Fashion and Food Fuse

Miami Fashion Week offers an eyeful of design duds and a bellyful of gourmet grub.

Whoever said models and fashion don’t mix, clearly hasn’t heard about the latest addition to this year’s Miami Fashion Week: The Culinary Arts Pavilion. Thanks to the folks at Whole Foods, foodies and fashionistas can get their respective fix March 19 thought 22 at SoHo Studios in the Wynwood Art District. Celebrity chefs will be dishing up $20 dinners nightly while designers send their latest collections down the catwalk at the international event. Each evening a different chef will slave over a hot stove to bring you a meal that’s as tasty as it is trendy. This marriage of food and fashion will explore cultures are close as the Caribbean and as far away as Asia. Log on to miamifashionweek.com to find out what’s cooking.
