Saturday South Florida Weather: Dry, Partly Sunny, Temps in Lower 80s

An elevated risk of rip currents will persist at local Atlantic beaches

Wake-up temperatures in the upper 60s and lower 70s Saturday will increase to the lower 80s by early afternoon.

A quick shower may roll through South Florida this morning. Any wet weather that impacts local communities will be isolated, and no widespread rain is in the forecast for the weekend. Generally dry and partly sunny conditions will invite residents to enjoy the outdoors both days. Dress for afternoon temps in the lower 80s.

As the direction of our winds is from east to west, an elevated risk of rip currents will persist at local Atlantic beaches. All beachgoers are encouraged to be careful in and around the water and swim near lifeguards.

St. Patrick’s Day festivities Saturday evening will stay dry and mostly clear. Evening temps will be in the low to mid-70s.
