Get ready for a cooler, dry pattern to settle into South Florida starting Wednesday.

This comes in the wake of a cold front that raced through the area overnight. While the morning may start out with some extra cloud cover, mostly sunny skies will rule this afternoon with highs in the middle to upper 70s.

Breezy conditions will dominate each afternoon starting Thursday and carry through the weekend with the increasing threat for rip currents at the beach.
