Forecast: Better Weather for the Weekend

Chief Meteorologist John Morales is forecasting a decent weekend with the lowest rain chances of the week. (Published Saturday, Sept. 27, 2014)

We should see a partly cloudy day as conditions start to improve from the past few days. There will be a 30 percent chance of rain. We could see a few passing showers and thunderstorms this afternoon as they push west toward the interior and west coast areas. It should be a good beach day, but be careful with rip currents, as there is a high risk along Atlantic beaches. Highs will be in the upper 80s.

We will have similar conditions on Sunday, with more sunshine in the forecast. Highs will be upper 80s to lower 90s. Another wet pattern will return, making its way into our area by midweek.
