Forecast: Hot and Humid Sunday



    Quiet start to our Sunday with drier air filtering in throughout the day. Isolated threat of thunderstorms this afternoon, mainly interior areas. (Published Sunday, Aug. 17, 2014)

    We will have a quiet start to our Sunday as drier air begins to filter in. Highs will be in the mid to lower 90s, but heat index values will make it feel hotter out there. There will be an isolated threat of thunderstorms this afternoon mainly in interior areas.

    Drier air will stick around Monday with only an isolated threat of thunderstorms. Highs will be in the mid to lower 90s.

    For the work week, a tropical wave is approaching South Florida and will increase moisture Tuesday and Wednesday. Highs will remain in the lower 90s.
