Highs Near 90, Chance for Showers Thursday

Chance of rain goes down through the weekend

Thursday began with temperatures in the upper 70s and lots of sunshine. All the showers that came through the area during the early morning hours have pushed offshore.

Drier air is sinking into South Florida, and that will help rain chances go down through the weekend. There's a 30 percent chance of showers and possible afternoon storms Thursday, with highs near 90.

We will see temps drop to the upper 70s Thursday night, with a stray shower possible. Rain chances will be slim to none Friday through the weekend, with lots of sunshine.

Debby has pushed out to sea and has diminished. We are watching a small disturbance out in the Atlantic -- but it only has a 10 percent chance of development over the next 24-48 hours.
