A hot and dry pattern has settled in across South Florida for the next few days and while it’s a welcome break from our normal summertime storms, it won’t last too long.

For Wednesday, expect mostly sunny skies and highs in the lower 90s. It should be a great beach day with an onshore breeze around 10 mph.

We’re dry Wednesday night with lows only at 81 under partly cloudy skies. It's the same story Thursday with highs at 91.

By Friday our afternoon thunderstorm chances ramp up and stick around through Sunday.
