Morning temps in the upper 70s to lower 80s will climb into the lower 90s Wednesday afternoon across South Florida.

Easterly winds may drag in a few early morning showers, but many spots will remain dry. As the sea breeze develops Wednesday afternoon, thunderstorm activity will by nudged inland. Some of the western suburbs of Broward and Miami-Dade could be affected by an evening storm. Overall shower coverage will be around 20 percent today.

Otherwise expect sunshine and scattered clouds. This pattern will persist into the weekend.
