Moderate Risk of Rip Currents Along South Florida's Beaches

    The National Weather Service on Saturday said there is a moderate risk of rip currents along South Florida's beaches.

    The weather service advisory also said there was a slight risk for waterspouts in Atlantic waters, including Biscayne Bay, "especially through the midday hours."

    East winds at 15 miles per hour create the moderate rip current risk at beaches in Palm Beach all the way down to Miami-Dade County. The risk will remain elevated until at least Tuesday.
