Mostly Cloudy, Highs in the Mid 80s

On and off showers throughout the day

Another rainy start to the day , with off and on heavy downpours reported everywhere from the Keys to Broward.

There will be off and on rain throughout the day, with high temps struggling to make it to the mid 80s.

All eyes are on the Gulf of Mexico with a tropical low pressure system that is entering a favorable environment for further tropical development. The National Hurricane Center has put an 80 percent chance of this storm developing into a Tropical Depression later Saturday.

When this happens, there will be a much better idea of where it will go. Right now, all the models are disagreeing. If it becomes a Tropical Storm, it will be named Debby.

If the storm tracks more to the west, there will be less wind and rain Sunday through Tuesday. If the storm tracks more to the northeast, then there will be more wind and rain.

More information will be released in the next 12 to 24 hours. Right now, rain chances are high through the weekend, with highs in the mid 80s.
