Mostly Dry Weather Expected in South Florida

Thanksgiving temperatures will start in the mid to upper 60s in most spots around sunrise

A cold front will slide through South Florida Thursday, and there may be an isolated shower, but mostly dry weather is expected.

Thanksgiving temperatures will start in the mid to upper 60s in most spots around sunrise.  Highs will reach the upper 70s, near 80 degrees.  Although morning clouds will be around, gradual clear will occur through the afternoon.  Brighter and breezy conditions will develop for the second half of the day.

Black Friday shoppers should be ready for predawn temps in the mid to upper 60s.  Although it won’t be cold, a light jacket will help prevent a slight chill.  It will remain quite breezy with winds between 15-20 mph.  Jackets will be shed by 8 a.m. or 9 a.m.  Highs tomorrow will reach the upper 70s.  Partly to mostly sunny skies for Friday.

A Small Craft Advisory will be in effect Friday for increasing wind and seas.  The rip current risk will likely be high at local beaches Friday.
