Mostly sunny conditions will again rule the bulk of the day here in South Florida as highs climb to 89 Tuesday.
Late in the afternoon, a few storms will build but the coverage will remain isolated in nature.
Enjoy the quieter weather today as more storms are likely in the afternoon hours the rest of the work week.
Tropical moisture will return to South Florida Wednesday through Friday, yielding numerous afternoon thunderstorms.
It’s been an exceptionally wet month in South Florida with over 14 inches of rain already reported at Miami International Airport. The average for May is around five and a half inches.
