Muggy Tuesday in South Florida

Temps in upper 80s, more storms possible in the afternoon

South Florida is starting out with drier conditions Tuesday morning, with temps in the mid to upper 70s.

We will gradually warm to the upper 80s, with muggy conditions in place. We could see another round of showers and storms developing this afternoon, some could be strong.

Rain chances will begin to go down Wednesday, with African dust settling in South Florida. That will cause hazy conditions late-week, lasting possibly through the weekend.

It will make temps feel very warm, about 100-105 once you factor in the heat index. We should stay dry and hot through the weekend.
