Saturday will start with isolated showers moving onshore. Otherwise, many communities will stay dry in the morning.

A weak tropical wave will pass to our south this weekend. Deeper moisture will trail the disturbance and clip South Florida late Saturday into Sunday.

Expect partly sunny skies during the day with a gradual increase in cloud cover. Shower chances will rise during the second half of the day. The best chance for afternoon thunderstorms will continue inland and west coast, much like the past several days.But, a stray storm cannot be ruled out in Broward or Miami-Dade.

Occasional showers will pass through at night and Sunday. Storm coverage will increase from 20 percent Saturday to 40 percent Sunday. Highs both days on the weekend will be near 90 degrees.

Spotty storms will likely affect the Keys both afternoons this weekend.
