A pattern shift will take shape in South Florida Monday that will lead to more storms for the work week.
Monday will bring partly sunny skies with a slight chance for afternoon thunderstorms, mainly across Broward County. Expect a humid high of 86 with light winds.
By Tuesday, afternoon high temps will climb into the upper 80s with morning sun and afternoon thunderstorms. With steering winds out of the west, there will be no escaping the afternoon storms through Thursday.
While the threat for severe storms isn’t high this week, the chance for some strong storms will be present, especially Wednesday and Thursday.
