Less winds and more sunshine today; still the risk of rip currents. Meteorologist Shiri Spear has the local forecast. (Published Saturday, Jan. 31, 2015)

Early morning temperatures in the 70s will climb into the lower 80s by the afternoon Tuesday in South Florida.

Expect partly sunny skies with more sunshine and less wind than Monday. Shower chances will stay very low at only 10 percent Tuesday.

Beach-goers should still be careful at the local Atlantic beaches. Although it is not as windy, easterly winds to 15 mph may produce rip currents.

Evening temperatures will fall back into the low and mid 70s. A few clouds will hang around, but it will be dry.
