Partly to Mostly Cloudy, High Temps in 80s Wednesday

Dangerous rip currents persist at local Atlantic beaches

Early temps in the lower 70s will peak around 82 Wednesday afternoon as partly to mostly cloudy skies will cover South Florida.

Sustained winds are expected to range from 10 to 20 mph with stronger gusts. The onshore breeze will carry a few hit-or-miss showers onshore through the day.

Also, dangerous rip currents will persist at local Atlantic beaches. Beachgoers and boaters must be careful near the water today.

The winds will lighten a bit Thursday. Still, it will be breezy with the slight chance of a shower.
