Rain Remains in South Florida Forecast

Warm and muggy Tuesday as rain continues

Early temps in the lower 70s will rise into the lower 80s Tuesday afternoon as it will be warm and muggy in South Florida.

Rain remains in the forecast today. Up to an inch of rain is possible in Broward and Miami-Dade, with isolated totals higher where the heaviest rain develops.

Some reports of fog were issued early Tuesday morning. Reduced visibility is possible this morning due to patchy fog and scattered heavy showers, though the fog should dissipate shortly after sunrise as temperatures rise.

Deep tropical moisture will linger over South Florida, providing the fuel for on and off showers. By Wednesday, shower coverage will decrease significantly. Abundant showers will push into the western Atlantic, and South Florida will see long dry intervals and more breaks in the clouds.
