Chief Meteorologist John Morales on the stellar weather we're enjoying in South Florida.
Low humidity, comfortable temperatures, light breezes, and plentiful sunshine allowed for a beautiful Thursday in South Florida. Fortunately, the weather is expected to remain just as nice for Friday and Saturday.
High pressure north of the Bahamas will block fronts from approaching Miami or Fort Lauderdale, keeping us dry.
It will become warmer this weekend, with highs into the mid-80s for Saturday and Sunday thanks to very light south to southwesterly winds.
Though there may be a few more clouds around on Sunday, it’s still expected to remain rain-free. Beach and boating weather will benefit from the lack of any significant winds.
