South Florida Wakes Up to Near Record Lows

Temps in 50s and 60s, will reach 80s by afternoon

Near record lows greeted South Florida residents Wednesday morning as temperatures were in the 50s and 60s. 

Afternoon highs will be near 80 degrees. High pressure will slide over the peninsula today and keep South Florida mainly clear, so expect another day of abundant sunshine in Broward, Miami-Dade and the Keys.

Overnight Wednesday into Thursday will not be as chilly. Temps will to drop into the mid 60s.

The work week will finish dry with gradual warming into the mid 80s by Friday. An isolated thunderstorm and increasing winds are forecasted this weekend.
