Saturday is starting out calm, with lows in the mid-70s. A few showers are impacting the Keys in the morning, but are steadily moving offshore.
The day will warm quickly to the mid-80s in the afternoon, with partly sunny skies. Moisture is still in the atmosphere, so a chance of afternoon storms will be in the forecast. Some could be strong later in the day.
Sunday will be a little drier. A few showers will still be around in the afternoon, but not quite as many as in the past few days. Therefore, Sunday should be a better weekend day.
Next week, a typical “summer-like” pattern will set up. Sunshine for the morning hours, then scattered afternoon storms expected each day.
